Description: The GeologicBedrock_BDRK24K bedrock geology dataset includes several GIS data layers. The data was compiled from RF 24,000 USGS base maps. The data was created under the auspices of the Vermont Geological Survey with the assistance of the Information Management Section of the Agency of Natural Resources. The GeologicBedrock_BDRK24K dataset is organized into QUAD tiled (refer to VGIS Tile Structures information) "data bundles". Each data bundle includes several coverages; 1) CONTACTS (Lithographic contact layer), 2) DUCFLTCL (Faults, Anticlines Synclines), 3) FOLPT (trend and fold data), and 4) OUTCROP (exposed outcrops). Other coverages may be included with each data bundle. Refer to the README.TXT file included with each bundle.
